Selection Process

Main Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Updating budgetary accounting records.
  • Maintaining and updating bank books.
  • Recording expenses against the approved budget and properly filing supporting documents.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintaining the petty cash book and keeping all supporting documents for petty cash payments.
  • Preparing monthly petty cash balances.
  • Submitting monthly bank statements to the Ministry of Finance together with the required supporting documents.
  • Ensuring all required financial declarations are completed and submitted on time.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the relevant Ministry authorities.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Accounting with Foundation Level One of CPA, CIA, CPFA, CPFM, or ACCA (Applied Knowledge), or Stage Two of CAT/API Certificate.

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Finance with Foundation Level One of CPA, CIA, CPFA, CPFM, or ACCA (Applied Knowledge), or Stage Two of CAT/API Certificate.

Relevant Experience: 0 years required.
