Job Purpose

The Ministry of Health is looking for a responsible and reliable Driver to provide safe and timely transportation services to staff on official duties and support the Ministry's courier and dispatch activities.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the proper use, care, maintenance, and documentation of the assigned project vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

The Driver will be responsible for:

• Providing safe and timely transportation to Ministry staff on official assignments.
• Handling the Ministry's external courier and dispatch services.
• Managing and supporting the proper use of the project vehicle fleet.
• Carrying out basic vehicle care and general maintenance.
• Keeping accurate and updated vehicle logbooks for all trips and movements.
• Ensuring that assigned vehicles remain clean, safe, and in good roadworthy condition.
• Immediately reporting any vehicle accident or incident to the appropriate authority.
• Ensuring vehicle licenses, registration documents, and other required documentation are valid and properly maintained.
• Following all applicable road safety rules, government procedures, and vehicle management requirements.
• Performing other duties related to transportation as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• A valid Category B Driving License.
• No prior relevant work experience is required (0 years).
• A certificate in mechanical training.
