1. Job Overview

Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of EHS Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, health, and safety programmes to ensure regulatory compliance and promote safe and efficient operations within the power plant.

2. Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health, and safety policies, programmes, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain safe power plant operations.
  2. Organize and deliver safety training, emergency preparedness exercises, and awareness programmes for employees and contractors.
  3. Conduct workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, air quality monitoring, and accident investigations, and recommend corrective measures to prevent future incidents.

3. Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications and meet the corresponding experience requirements.

A. Master's Degree Qualifications — 1 Year of Experience

  • Master's in Civil Engineering: 1 year of experience in power plant operations, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • Master's in Electrical Engineering: 1 year of experience in power plant operations, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • Master's in Mechanical Engineering: 1 year of experience in power plant operations, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • Master's in Environmental Technology: 1 year of experience in power plant operations, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • Master's in Environmental Engineering: 1 year of experience in power plant operations, transmission operations, and distribution operations.

B. A0 Degree Qualifications — 3 Years of Experience

  • A0 in Electrical Engineering: 3 years of experience in health and safety, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • A0 in Mechanical Engineering: 3 years of experience in health and safety, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • A0 in Civil Engineering: 3 years of experience in health and safety, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • A0 in Environmental Engineering: 3 years of experience in health and safety, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
  • A0 in Environmental Technology: 3 years of experience in health and safety, transmission operations, and distribution operations.
