1. Job Overview
Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) is seeking a qualified and experienced Statistician to support statistical analysis, data management, and reporting. The successful candidate will collect, process, interpret, and present statistical information to support decision-making and monitor trends in the energy sector.
2. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Applying mathematical and statistical methods to design surveys and experiments, as well as collect, process, and analyse data.
- Collecting, organizing, analysing, and sharing accurate data from various departments, including Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Commercial, and Finance.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on statistical findings, methodologies, models, and projected energy trends.
- Developing and introducing appropriate statistical techniques, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborating with stakeholders involved in energy statistics to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Working with RURA, NISR, and other relevant stakeholders to monitor energy-sector indicators.
- Performing other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
3. Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold an A0 degree in one of the following fields and have at least 3 years of experience in statistics:
- Applied Statistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Applied Statistics – Economics
- Economics
